Nestes dias, a banda sonora para o percurso casa-faculdade é ‘Hot Fuss’, dos The Killers. Tem anos 80 e anos 90 e sintetizadores e uma música com coro de gospel.

E a minha música para os 21 anos foi ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ dos Wham!. Não perguntem…

Olha que bela prenda de anos!

Há já muito tempo que andava para escrever sobre isto, mas entretanto esqueci-me. Lembrei-me agora porque aqui e aqui se fala de Sir Jarvis.

Há no álbum do Richard X – o senhor que ficou conhecido pelos mash-ups – uma autêntica pérola. Na verdade, é uma espécie de mash-up, mas pouco dada à pista de dança. A música chama-se «Into U» e são cinco minutos de electrónica cintilante, construídos sobre os acordes de «Fade Into You» dos Mazzy Star e com voz de Jarvis Cocker – e no refrão há também a voz de Hope Sandoval.
Façam o favor de procurar a música, porque é mesmo uma coisa linda. A letra – que não encontrei na net e por isso transcrevi de ouvido – é qualquer coisa assim:

Com isto tudo, o Festival Para Gente Sentada vai passar a ser Aquele Festival Que Não Se Pode Dizer Nome.
